Hello and welcome

to my world of photography!

Hi! I'm Lisa McKinlay, a landscape photographer based in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

My husband and I love going on adventures with our son, exploring and immersing ourselves in the great outdoors, fulfilling my soul passion for capturing the natural beauty of the diverse landscapes we discover along our travels.

I first fell in love with photography when I was completing VCE Media Studies in Senior High School in 1998, where I started out with a Pentax K1000 shooting with black and white film and hand developing the negatives and prints using the school darkroom.

My passion and skills have grown over the years where I now enjoy passing on my knowledge by mentoring others on their photography journey!  

I love connecting with people and always get a deep sense of satisfaction when I see a creative spark ignited in the person that I'm teaching!  

My teaching style is not 'text book' as my aim is to excite you about photography which involves patience and structuring a session to your individual needs.
